Quaint decor, very hospitable
Lonely Planet and Time Out recommend it: Between Art & Kitsch. The Guardian wrote: 'A cute alternative to the design and boutique hotels blossoming all over town, this quirky B&B in De Pijp, just a short walk from dozens of museums, is lovingly decorated by its owners.'
The rooms are decorated with an unusual mix of Baroque and Art Deco decorations (that's the kitsch) and famous Dutch painter Mondriaan once lived her (that's the art part).
Your hosts Irene and Ebo are your welcoming. They'll be happy to share with you what they love about Amsterdam.
The rooms are located on the 3rd floor, with 'notorious' steep stairs for which Amsterdam is known. Rooms come with private bathrooms and breakfast with lots of goodies is available from the kitchenette on the same floor.
The B&B is located just opposite the Rijksmuseum (with Stedelijk and Van Gogh just around the corner) and just minutes from the famous Amsterdam canal area.
